Queer Pole Play @WildFlowStudio90 minutesWild Flow Studio - Puchstraße 17, 8020 GrazQueer Pole PlayThis workshop is for queer peeps who are new to pole, have a bit of experience, or enjoy exploring the foundations of pole dance. It is especially for those who haven’t attended a pole dance class due to financial barriers or fear of discrimination in pole spaces.There are no prerequisites! Michelle (they/them/M) will facilitate 75 minutes of guided learning in a playful and exploratory approach. The rest of the time is for practicing more pole, socializing, or just hanging out. M teaches in German and English adjusted to the participants. What to Bring:Clothes you can move in freely and that make you feel good.Kneepads (optional)SocksWater bottle and maybe a snackWorkshop fee in cahsPlease bring cash and arrive 10 minutes before the workshop starts to get settled in so we can begin on time.Base Price & PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN: Please bring cash! Please use the following guidelines to determine your payment.The base price is intentionally set low to ensure accessibility for all queer individuals, especially for those who haven’t attended a pole dance course due to financial barriers. The Pay-What-You-Can option acknowledges the range of economic situations as well as the impact of intersectional discrimination and systemic barriers. Pole dance spaces can be especially challenging for individuals who are part of the TIN* (trans*, inter* and non-binary), BIPOC, and/or neurodivergent communities, as well as those who experience discrimination due to body size and appearance.
