Queer Pole Play – Masc Fluidity @Pole Kollektiv90 minutesPole Kollektiv - Lerchenfelderstraße 129, 1070 WienQueer Pole Play – Masc FluidityPlay with masc expression and step into your masc alter ego (f*ck bois welcome!) with the pole as your partner. This workshop welcomes queer* folks who are new to pole, have some pole experience, or are curious about exploring masculine movement qualities and their masc expression in a supportive space. It is especially for those who haven’t attended a pole dance class due to financial barriers and/or fear of discrimination in pole spaces. Pole dance is often represented in a very feminine way, but pole is versatile and not bound to gender stereotypes. You decide for yourself what masculinity means to you and how you want to express it through movement. This workshop invites you to explore exactly that with guided support.Michelle will guide you through 75 minutes of playful and exploratory movement, creating a safeR space to connect with your body, lean into and break away from gender stereotypes, and discover what masculinity means to you. This session will focus on embodying diverse expressions of “masc” – from powerful to fluid, from sharp to soft, always with room for your own interpretation. No prior experience is required. Please bring cash and arrive 10 minutes before the workshop starts to get settled in so we can begin on time.Be aware that two events are happening this evening! Each event has their own sign up.
