  I often check my calendar once a day in the morning or in the evening of the day before. I also don't check email constantly and do not receive email on my phone. If you schedule a meeting on the same day you want to meet, I am not likely to know about it! As a result, I will often cancel and/or ignore meetings with people I don't know, so please only book a meeting with me once you've gotten the go-ahead from me.
